CARNELIAN CAMEOS


Intricately carved Cameos first appeared during the era of Alexander the Great, when they were used on official potraits as seals. During the Renaissance, their finely crafted designs enhanced the elaborate fashions of the period. Cameos reached a new height of popularity in the Victorian age when it was favored by Queen Victoria herself. Till this day Cameos are worn the world-over for its timeless and elegant beauty.
